A Quebec creation

Mr. Goupil, an engineer by trade, had the idea of creating a support that made it easier to use his tablet while travelling on a plane in May 2014. Based on his own inflight experience (and his sore neck!), he designed a support for his personal use. He did not know it at the time, but this first “homemade” prototype became the ancestor of the Atlas support. And because it was seen by several passengers who kept asking him where he had gotten this object, he decided to embark on the adventure.

Assembled in Montreal

The Atlas support are proudly assembled by the Amalgame Montréal team, an organization that gathers people with physical disabilities to efficiently and skillfully accomplish repetitive tasks that can be done while sitting at a table.
